Status
The Problem
People want to trade skills directly — teaching what they know in exchange for learning something new — but most platforms are one-directional course marketplaces with no real-time collaboration.
The Solution
SkillSwap is a peer-to-peer exchange where users list skills, match with others, and collaborate live through real-time chat, voice, and video. Scheduling, endorsements, and notifications keep the exchange organized.
My Role
Sole full-stack developer — implemented real-time messaging with Socket.io, media uploads via Cloudinary, the matching and scheduling logic, and the responsive Tailwind UI.
